Best Way for Pregnant Woman to Clean Oven?
I am 5 weeks pregnant & can’t use any harsh chemicals like oven cleaners, and my oven is not self-cleaning. Any suggestions as to what I should use to clean it before I use it for the first time? Can I just turn on the “broil” button and let it go for an hour or so, or is it best to scrub away?
I’ll be one of the woman walking into single motherhood… so there’s no husband to Clean My Oven for me. Thanks!
The way I read your ? is that your oven is new and has never been used… it’s not necessary to clean first, but if U want you can wipe it out with a damp cloth if there’s dust. The best way to KEEP it clean is to wipe any spills/splashes off immediately after each use with warm soapy water and you shouldn’t have to worry about a severe cleaning in the future. However, if the need arises,and you want my advice, I have always believed there are two things which women NEVER have to do…one is cleaning the oven. (The other is taking out the trash)
